Procedure for Submitting Applications for all
District Administrative Positions

Application Procedure:

To be considered for any position, applicants must submit the following documents:

  1. Managerial Application (Click Here). Please include the specific position title and position code of the job for which you are applying on the application.

     
  2. Resume
     
    • List each employer’s name and address
    • Include Dates of Employment – Use Month and Year
    • List Job Title and professional/work experience for each job
    • List reason for leaving each position

       
  3. One set of official transcripts (sealed in envelope) from colleges/universities.  Current SBBC employees do not need to submit official transcripts if highest degree is documented in the BRITE System/SAP.

     

  4. Copies of special certifications (such as First Aid/CPR), professional licenses (such as Educator Certifications, Registered Nurse, Architect), etc.

Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline date.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Faxed or emailed applications will not be considered.  Incomplete applications cannot be processed.


Required degrees must be earned from an institution accredited by an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education (CHEA), the United States Department of Education, a regional accreditation agency or another recognized agency of state or federal government of the United States. (Visit www.chea.org to determine if your educational institution is accredited.)

Foreign Educated Applicants:
Applicants with academic training and degrees granted outside the United States MUST submit a credential evaluation report that includes a statement of degree equivalency and a breakdown of the coursework and semester hour credits. An accredited two or four year college or university in the U.S., or a credential evaluation agency can provide this report. A partial list of approved agencies is found at www.naces.org.

All materials submitted become the property of the Non-Instructional Staffing Department, will not be returned to the applicant, and are subject to the Florida Sunshine Statutes.
