Essential Question:
Over the past forty years, how have changes in society
impacted Village Elementary?

Project Desciption:
Teachers and their students examined how changes in society have impacted the school over the last forty years.

Teachers/Classes:
Greta Rowe, 4th and 5th grade: Mrs. Rowe’s 4th & 5th Grade Gifted explored how lifestyles affect the environment. They made multimedia presentations describing their findings..

Allison Cautain, 4th grade and Mrs. Coutain-William, 4th grade: 4th Graders looked at the cultural diversity of the community. They made multimedia presentations describing their resoures

Nicole Coutain-Marshall, 5th grade and Chapperra Morrison, 5th grade: Mrs. Coutain-Marshall and Mrs. Morrison classes examined how the way we live has impacted the flow of energy. They made podcast on what they found.



Susan Griffin-Chatmon, 3rd grade: Ms. Griffin's Class compared Village Elementary then and now. They researched and interviewed community members and then created podcasts with finding.

Laura Lee, 3rd grade: Students examined how technology has changed our lives. They made movies on what they found.

Stephanie Rodriguez, 3rd grade: Students researched how the Everglades have evolved. They made movies and plays on what they found.

Hetty Davis, Media Specialist: Supported the teachers and students while they progressed through their projects.

Meryene Nolan, Curriculum Specialist: Supported the teachers and students while they progressed through their projects and created a movie using MovieMaker
