Essential Question:
If we're all connected, how are we affected?

`

Project Desciption:
The sixth grade World History classes explored the history of water systems in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia and how modifying natural resources, including the creation of irrigation systems, affected the lives of the people living in these societies.  Students created PowerPoint presentations, which were then transferred into Movie Maker where students recorded their own narration to create digital documentaries.  Sixth grade science students explored current environmental concerns using a "what if?" machine to present their research and their ideas on what may happen if we do/don't "go green".

The seventh grade chose historical or current events/concerns and explored how they have affected and continue to affect people.  Students took photographs, downloaded pictures, created graphs and PowerPoint slides which were then imported into Movie Maker to create digital documentaries with narration
