About GLIDES

GLIDES is a district initiative that supports teachers and students through a project-based learning process. The purpose is to provide support to the teachers and students from the planning of the project to gathering the information needed to the building of a final project. Teachers are provided in-class coaching throughout the implementtion of the project in the use of of 21st century tools and stratgies in learning.

The three episodes showcase each phase of the GLIDES process: planning, gathering, and building. The teacher, Elyse Brunt, will explain the process in the three podcasts.

About the Episode (Planning):

Now that the students have gathered their information, it is time to build a product to share their learning. In this episode, Elyse will explain the process and key components a teacher needs to consider when planning the build phase. Students use an array of multimedia tools and their own creativity to showcase what they have learned.
