Your summer term application must be submitted by Wednesday, May 10, 2017.  The application will be removed from the website after this date.  Applications must be complete to be considered for summer employment. An incomplete application may result in ineligibility for summer employment.

AGREEMENT

If selected for a summer term position, you are committing to work the entire program term.  Teachers of ESE students agree to follow the IEP for Extended School Year (ESY) approved program schedule.  

 

It is the responsibility of the employee completing this form to ensure that all information is accurate, and that all applicable portions of the  application are fully completed.  Incomplete applications will not be processed.  The salary for summer school will be based on the number of hours worked multiplied by the hourly rate of pay received during the 2016-2017 school year, not including supplements.  In order to be considered for summer employment, employee must:

  • be reappointed for the 2017-2018 school year

  • have received a highly effective or effective on their overall evaluation and final Instructional Practice Score (IPS)

  • have a valid Florida teaching certificate

  • meet the specific requirements for the summer program selected

  • attend mandatory training and planning, if applicable
