Professional Development Support
Professional Developers engage in planning, coordination of learning, implementing and evaluating professional development programs at the district level and school PD plans (included in the School Improvement Plans) at the school level. There are multiple, distinct roles within the designation, Professional Developer. Each role differs in its key responsibilities; however the roles often overlap. As roles overlap, so do the knowledge and skills required. The development of knowledge and skills for each role is available within the Professional Developer’s Program offered by the Professional Development Support Department.
