This course provides students with an introduction to health
careers as well as practical competencies related to health
decisions all individuals will make during thier lifetime.
Content includes common health skills, information related
to disease prevention and maintenance of health, safety
practices in carrying out medical instructions, and adapting
health principles to the home, legal aspects for the health
consumer, and exploration of services provided by health
professionals and community health agancies.
