| Fort Lauderdale High School is a public school located on 26 acres in eastern Fort Lauderdale, Florida. FLHS has a tradition of academic excellence that dates back 90 years. At FLHS 49% of the instructional staff have a masters degree and an additional 3% a doctoral degree. The student population reflects the ethnic and cultural diversity found in the City of Fort Lauderdale. FLHS is the lead school in an academic feeder program that consists of one middle school and seven elementary schools. FLHS is both a member of the College Board and a Cambridge International Examinations Registered Centre. Classes are 90 minutes and follow a block schedule. | |||||
