School Meals - A Real Deal

Food and Nutrition Services offer variety and well-balanced
nutritious meals at a low cost. School lunches provide an
assortment of foods including daily entree salads and fresh
fruit. School meals are healthy, meeting the Dietary Guidelines
for Americans. By choosing lunch at school, students learn to
make healthy choices, reinforcing nutrition education taught in
the classroom.  Delicious breakfasts are served daily in all
Broward County Public schools.

Free and Reduced Price Meals

The United States Department of Agriculture provides free or
reduced price meals to children whose families meet income
requirements. This helps assure that all children have access to
nutritious food during the school day. Our children need proper
nutrition to grow, be healthy and learn. In 2013-14, more than
62 percent of Broward County Public School students took
advantage of this great program.

Food Stamps/Access Florida

Myschoolbucks.com is an online payment portal
especially designed to allow parents to make quick and easy
online payments to their children's school accounts. The system
allows parents to manage their children's lunch accounts,
including viewing food selection. A nominal fee of $1.95 is
per credit/debit transaction.
