Summer Reading
Summer Reading keeps the brain engaged, helps to improve vocabulary and allows you to engage the imagination in various ways: travel, hobbies, mysteries, adventure, and more.
How do you start to find wonderful reading material? Start with your interests. Ask yourself what you would like to know more about? What kind of movies do you like? Adventure, mystery, love…chances are you would love to read about these topics as well. Once you know what you might be looking for in reading material, go to the library and speak with the librarian. They are incredibly helpful in identifying books that match your interests. Another wonderful source is the local bookstore. The people that work there can direct you to the novels that interest you most.
Read at least three books this summer, make it fun and enjoyable, and have a wonderful experience!
