We have something for everyone!

School-aged children living within Broward County are assigned to a school based on their primary residential address and grade level. This is the child's assigned school.

You can use the School Locator to find your child's assigned school.

We understand families want to have options for their child's education, which may include a choice other than their assigned school. Parents may request for their child to attend a different school during a 2018/19 School Choice application window.

Broward County Public Schools will offer the following School Choice application categories beginning May 1, 2018:

Magnet Programs
Magnet Programs:

McKay Schlolarship
John M. McKay Scholarship:

If you are interested in an Innovative Program or Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathway not at your child’s assigned school or the Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy, you may apply for entry to that school through a School Choice reassignment application.

Additional school choice categories with varying application timelines include College Academy @ Broward College and Broward Virtual School.
