Starting with the 2017/18 school year, every Florida school district must have a "controlled open enrollment plan", which allows students to enroll in any
school in the state that has not reached capacity. Broward County Public Schools already has a controlled open enrollment
plan in place through the School Choice process.
If you are not a Broward County resident and would like for your child to attend one of Broward County public elementary, middle or high schools, please download the appropriate
School Choice applications
below. Upon receipt of your paper
application, a Student Identification Number will be created for your child. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been entered into our system.
