2016-17 Charter School Closed Choice Options



This application is only for students who are requesting a reassignment due to their charter school closing after the first day of school. Parents may request a reassignment within 90 days following a Charter School closure. Requests will be considered only to schools having an enrollment less than 102% of the school’s permanent building capacity. If granted, the reassignment will be valid through the highest grade. For siblings of students attending a school over 102% of the school’s permanent building capacity in the highest grade (5th, 8th or 12th grade), a granted reassignment for the applicant will only be valid for the year the older sibling remains at the school. Incomplete applications will NOT be processed. Emailed or faxed applications are NOT ACCEPTED. Transportation is NOT provided for students granted a Charter School Closed Reassignment.

Notification letters will be mailed to the address on file for the applicant via US Mail. If an email address is provided on your application, you will be notified of your application status electronically.
