BRACE

The Broward Advisors for Continuing Education(BRACE) Program is unique to the Broward County Public School System. My name is Anne Knoll, and I am the BRACE Advisor at Stoneman Douglas. I am here to help you with all your post-secondary options, such as college, university,technical school, and military service as well as information on scholarships,college admission testing, financial aid, and the college application process.

Throughout the year, there will be many scheduled events and lots of information available to assist you in developing your post secondary plans. Colleges/technical schools will be visiting our campus.  If you wish to attend any of these presentations, you must sign up in the Guidance Office and obtain a pass, which must be signed by your teacher. You will have ONE WEEK to sign up for these visits.  For current listings, listen for PA announcements, check out the BRACE Bulletin Board in the Guidance Office, and check the link below.

Scholarship Bulletins will be published twice each month.  Paper bulletins will be available in Guidance, and online bulletins will be available on the link below.  Those scholarships that require paper applications will be available in the BRACE Office.
