Broward Schools District Education Technology Plan (DETP) for 2010-2013 has been developed to ensure that Broward’s technology initiatives continue to support student achievement and operational efficiency. This plan continues, and expands on, the progress made on the Strategic Plan for Technology 2007-2010, and is aligned with the district’s mission, vision, and goals. It also addresses the planning requirements of the State of Florida Department of Education, the United States Department of Education and the Federal E-Rate program. It will become the basis for all new and continuing technology projects in the district over the next three years. The three year plan outlines the district’s technology goals and objectives for instructional and information technology programs.
