PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Business
Technology Education is a group of specialized instructional
programs structured to prepare students to enter and
to advance in a specific occupation chosen as a career
objective.
The programs of Business Technology
Education in Broward County, Florida prepare students
for occupations in Accounting, Computer Technology,
Networking, Web Design and Programming, Management and
Supervision, Office Support Services, and Court Reporting.
Congruent to all programs are
the identified leadership activities that enable the
individual to function as an employee and a leader in
the American business system. This is done thru classroom
activities and involvement in Business Professionals
Of America, a national Career & Technical Student
Organization
Reinforcement of basic
skills in English, mathematics, and science appropriate
for the job preparatory programs is provided through
Business Technology Education Programs and applied with
lab experiences and practices.
