Adult High School/Co-enrolled
Overview
The Adult High
School Diploma Program is another option for students
who are seeking a standard high school diploma. It is
offered to students who do not possess a high school
or state-approved diploma. Students must be 16 years
of age or older and officially withdrawn from school.
Students enrolled in this program must meet the following
graduation requirements: 24 credits A cumulative GPA
of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
State-mandated assessment (Florida Comprehensive Assessment
Test (FCAT) or High School Competency Test (HSCT).
Co-enrolled classes are offered to students currently
enrolled in high school and in danger of failing. Every
term a detailed course matrix is provided to the High
School Guidance Directors that outline all courses,
locations, and times. Co-enrolled students do not have
to take a state-approved assessment (TABE) before taking
academic classes in adult education.
