Participants will develop a complete understanding of the legal issues that face science instruction today. The topics of negligence, foresee ability and liability will all be discussed. Procedures for safe science instruction will be demonstrated and the specifications for necessary safety equipment will be covered. Participants will review the Broward County Safety Handbook as well as the State Department of Education Guidelines for Safety.
