Active Reading: Pre, During, Postmore information

This course spotlights nine reading strategies that help students become independent readers. Three strategies are explicitly taught for each stage of the reading process (before, during, and after) and are modeled for specific reading purposes (fiction, informational text, content area textbook). The examples provided are best suited for grades 3-8, but can be adapted for all grade levels.
