Participants will receive an in-depth overview of bullying and the key roles each of the three players hold within the bullying triangle to prevent and intervene. Particular emphasis will be placed as well on how to train students on this same information.

This course focuses on areas of health and wellness, both physical and mental. Through discussion and interactive activities, participants will learn the consequences of poor mental and physical health as well as wellness strategies and skills to strengthen mental and physical health and create a more positive climate within the home and school.
This course covers the most current trends and information on substance abuse with special emphasis on today’s youth and brain development. Participants will gain information and skills as they relate to substance abuse prevalence, causation, consequence, and prevention that may be utilized in their classrooms, schools, and community. This includes how to recognize signs of substance abuse and understand the types of prevention and intervention tools available.
Research has shown time and time again that violence prevention remains one of the most effective tools for academic success. This Violence Prevention course uses the latest information and tools to educate and empower youth and adults to prevent and intervene when there is a risk of violence. The course covers the latest trends in the spectrum of violence toward self (suicide, self injury) as well as violence toward others (from the early inception of disrespect and mistrust at the core of bullying to dating/domestic violence and Internet Safety/Abduction prevention).
