This course explores facts and myths that surround HIV and AIDS, the policies and procedures set for state and district levels, and essential prevention information. The objective of this course is to make participants comfortable with HIV/AIDS information and the district's curriculum.
This is an introductory course designed to help increase teachers' level of comfort, provide specific do's and don'ts and general tips on how to effectively answer questions about Family Life/Human Sexuality and HIV/AIDS Curriculum. The course will further explore facts and myths about HIV/AIDS, guidelines concerning confidentiality, and specific grade level Family Life/Human Sexuality and HIV/AIDS Curriculum. The objective of this course is to make participants comfortable with HIV/AIDS information and teaching district's curriculum with fidelity.
