This course picks up where Introduction to Autism left off, diving deeper into social issues, accommodations for academic and independent functioning areas, inclusive settings, assistive technology, and research on organization and color.
This introductory course will enable regular education teachers to gain an understanding of the characteristics of the autism learner and classroom strategies designed to benefit the autistic learner.
