Getting Started Tutorial :: Discussion
Clicking on the Discussion link on the left navigation bar will take you to the course discussion area. Each course has weekly discussions that are part of the course requirements.
Refer to the Criteria and the Samples information provided through the link.
Take time to read what others have posted in each discussion forum as you move throughout the course. Authentic learning takes place by sharing thoughts, comments and ideas with your facilitator and other participants in your course.
To enter a discussion forum click on the discussion forum title.
To create your own posting, click on Create Thread. Type the name of the Subject of your thread and then type your message.
After creating your message, it is suggested that you check the spelling by clicking on the ABC icon.
When the spell check is completed, click on the submit button at the bottom of the window.
To read what others have posted, simply click on the thread title.
To respond to another participants posting, select the thread and click on reply. Type in your response in the message box and click submit.
