Full-time BVS Students (Grades K-12)

Broward Virtual School offers a full-time enrollment option for students in grades K-12.  BVS serves as Broward County's virtual instruction program and satisfies the requirements set forth in Florida Statute 1002.45. Full-time BVS students are registered as public school students, take part in FCAT and other district testing, and have the opportunity to earn a standard Broward County diploma.  BVS partners with K12 Florida for elementary school curriculum and Florida Virtual School for middle and high school curriculum.

In order to be accepted as a full-time student with Broward Virtual School, students must meet the following criteria:

Eligibility for Grades 6-12:

1. Students must have demonstrated academic success in prior courses. Exceptions are made on an individual basis for students with medical conditions.

2. Students must have attained a minimum score on at least one of the following standardized tests in the prior school year:

  3. Concordant scores on the SAT or ACT
