BECON SERVICES
VIDEO PRODUCTION:
The Production Department transforms ideas into actual television productions. Production combines lights, cameras, talent, sound, graphics and sets into one meaningful product… the television program.
BECON produces a variety of programs each month. These programs include Celebrate South Florida, The New Haitian Generation, BECON Community Forum and CountyLine, a half hour community affairs program. In addition to these programs, BECON televises the Broward County School Board meetings every other Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. BECONalso produces instructional programming for the classroom and professional training and communication videos for the school district.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
The Program Development Department assists district teachers, administrators, and staff in all phases of television program development. Along with the Production and Graphics Departments, BECON provides its clients with a full range of video production services.

Print Graphics Department is a full-service operation that provides quality work for the Broward County Public Schools. Our services include:

PRINT SERVICES:

BECON’s Engineering Department has the responsibility for the design, installation, and maintenance of all television broadcast and production equipment.

SCHOOL SERVICES
The Schools Services Department is primarily responsible for the design, implementation, repair, and maintenance of the District’s Instructional Television Fixed Services (ITFS) network (now known as Educational Broadcast Systems – EBS), closed circuit television systems (CCTV) and related equipment. 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
