Why is it occuring?

Understanding of the MTSS process, its relevance to student achievement and importance of early detection is lacking in a few cases.

What are we going to do about it?

Monitor students more closely through data chats and working with teachers to identify resources, interventions, and strategies to assist struggling students

Action Plan

Monitor students' data and have data conversations with teachers, students, and parents
Implement resources and strategies to best meet the needs of students
Monitor and track students' progress throughout the MTSS process

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Through the monitoring of data and data chats, and classroom walkthroughs

Why is it occuring?

Teachers understanding the Florida Standards and the standard progressions, as well as the DOK leveles and rigor required for each, and implementing instruction to meet the required levels of each standard.

What are we going to do about it?

Professional development to address the standards and effective instructional practices.

Action Plan

By the end of June 2018, teachers will increase their understanding of the depth and rigor of academic standards and how to effective implement them in the classroom by 30%. 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Data analysis and classroom walkthroughs, as well as PLC's.
