What elements will be addressed?

Professional development and coaching provided to staff

Why is it occuring?

New and additional programs have been adopted/purchased based on 3 year data trends to address student needs.  Staff members will be provided training and development on these specifc programas.

What are we going to do about it?

Leadership team provides in house professional development, both formally and informally to prepare staff for successful implementation of interventions.

Action Plan

Analyze RtI data, research and find trends, choose research based interventions, plan for professional development, provide models, match RtI needs with programs, implement interventions while providing continued support and progress monitoring of implementation, continuous analysis of student data and teacher feedback.

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Success will be monitored and sucess will be measured by RtI data, displaying lenfth and time of interventions and their success rates.

What elements will be addressed?

Tier 2 academic practices include common student needs, are linked to Tier 1

Why is it occuring?

Due to the lack of scpecific, academic interventions needed for our student deficiencies, teachers had difficulty with the implementation and documentation of Tier 2 Intervention strategies.

What are we going to do about it?

Review 3 year trends of data on student data.
Research program-based interventions that align with the need of our students.
Provide training for teachers on how to implement and document interventions being used.
Provide modeling and support throughout the RTI process.

Action Plan

Pre-planning week trainings for teachers and support staff on student needs and interventions aligned to those needs.
Support for implementation of interventions.
Monthly monitoring of progress and collection of data.
Professional Development throughout the year, as needed.
 

How will we monitor and measure our success?

Collected intervention data will be reviewed monthly.
Analysis of data provides information on the next steps in the RTI process
