Staff have consensus and engage in MTSS Implementation

Due to an increase in the nember of new Faculty and Staff members at Margate Middle , it is necessary to provide training to ensure effective implementation of MTSS. Currently not all staff members are confident of their knowledge of the RTI process.

In order to improve the current state we will do the following:

• Conduct PLC for New teachers that will provide Strategies and Model RTI Process
• Weekly meetings with District Support Facilitator to receive feedback and support on practices.
• Weekly RtI meetings with MTSS Team
• Staff training on RtI process and BASIS software

The plan action will consist of the following:

• Identify dates for staff trainings of the RtI process and BASIS software
• Organize and facilitate PLC meeting for new teachers
• Identify teachers that can provide individual support for other teachers
• Identify roles and responsibilities amongst the MTSS Team

The succes of the plan will be monitored and measured by conducting survey semesterly and reviewing Tier 1 referral  data.

Student progress specific to academic or behavior goals are monitored

Currently,various systems are utlized to progress monitor students. Therefore, the goal would be to provide a consistentcy across content and grade levels.

Develop a system to monitor student’s progress and ensure fidelity of implementation.

- MTSS Team will create a monitoring tool to collect student’s data
- MTSS Team will train and disseminate monitoring tool to staff members.

Survey usage of tool through team meetings. Monitor data collection using the specified tool.
