The leadership team actively engages in ongoing professional development

In previous years, there has been on-site training provided for staff on the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Support ) and the RtI (Response to Intervention) process, however, further professional development is necessary to improve school-wide implementation of supports.

Continued training in the effective implementation of the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supprt) and  RtI (Response to Intervention) process for faculty and support staff.

On-going training will occur through embedded professional development practices on campus during Professional Study Days, Quality Improvement Team meetings; and Leadership Team meetings; PASL meetings.

Monitor and evaluate past and current use of the MTSS and RtI supports through data provided in BASIS.

Across tiers, data used to identify "gap" between expected and current outcomes

Further staff development is necessary to make teachers more confident in the process of MTSS.  

Teachers would benfit from more support with implementing appropriate student interventions.
