Software Management Module
The Software Sub-Committee worked with schools and departments to develop a Software Management Module (SMM) within the Remedy Help Desk Solution that tracks and inventories applications including the warranty and licenses. By implementing this solution and the processes that surround its use, the District is now able to provide software resources that meet the needs of students and staff, subscribe to network and interoperation requirements, and lower costs. The district has currently saved over $1.5 million dollars since the implementation of the SMM.
