One Broward

Long before the announcement of the Congressional Broadband Stimulus grants, the OneBroward Consortium began the development of  a multi-faceted, shared managed network that could effectively leverage existing owned assI&T. Representing   education, healthcare, public safety and local government, the eight founding partners had the foresight to recognize such a network would significantly benefit the public's safety, link community institutions and provide an innovative and sustainable model for broadband access to the underserved.  
 
In 2007, OneBroward became incorporated and filed for a 501(c)3 structure.  The eight founding OneBroward partners were:
