Teresa Macri

Congratulation to Teresa Macri for being nominated our I&T Eco Hero for September! Theresa is the Network Security Manager for the District. Teresa was instrumental in virtualizing over 150 servers at I&T. This virtualization has saved the District thousands of dollars in energy costs and reduced the physical footprint of servers in the Data Center by over 25%.

Teresa also manages the VPN program for the school board and created an online form which allows the schools to electronically submit their requests, rather than submit paper copies.

The I&T Green Committee would like to thank Teresa for modeling green behaviors by reducing the consumption of paper/ toner and encouraging paperless processes. As the winner, Teresa received $25 from the BrightStar Credit Union and was also given a designated parking spot in front of the TSSC Building for the month of September.
