Information & Technology (I&T) is Broward Schools' information technology department.  I&T is responsible for researching, implementing, monitoring and managing information technology solutions that improve both student achievement and the efficiency of business operations.

In order to accomplish this, I&T is broken into five functional units; Computer Operations, Facility Information Systems, Network Integration, School Applications and Technical Support Services.  These units work together to meet both long range strategic needs of schools and departments, and the daily just-in-time needs of students, teachers, support staff and administrators throughout the Broward School enterprise. 

I&T has been recognized over the years in a number of areas for its forward-looking approach to the use of technology in teaching and learning processes, and for the operational efficiencies delivered for the District.
